Stockport’s Digital Business Network is back, and this is the question that we will be exploring. If you are a digital business based in Stockport, come and join us for a lively discussion, networking opportunity and lunch.
Join guests from Microsoft and the University of Salford, who will be discussing the impact that Artificial Intelligence (AI) could have on your business.
This is a free event sponsored by Stockport Council on Friday, 13 October 2023, at The Light Cinema in Stockport town centre.
We have a great line-up of speakers who will be discussing all things AI:
- Marie Hamilton (Microsoft Greater Manchester Region Lead, Stockport resident and Digital Network Chair) leads this digital tech event with the latest news and insights from around the region.
- Naomi Timperley will be talking about Merseyway Innovation Centre and her role there as Innovation Director.
- Ross Milhench (Microsoft) – AI in Action. Ross will talk us through the latest technology enhancements, bust a few myths and talk about what this means for your business.
- Professor Mo Saraee (the University of Salford) – Business Success Story. Ever wondered how AI translates into tangible business success? Mo will share real-world stories of companies that have embraced AI to transform their business.
- Stephen Slater (GC Business Growth Hub for the University of Salford Business Innovation Services) with Katherine Barr and Richard Magennis (the University of Salford) – Unlocking Digital Innovation Business Support Services. Navigating the digital innovation landscape can be daunting, but not when you have Stephen, Katherine, and Richard on hand to help guide you through the available business support services.
Open Floor – Questions to the speakers and an opportunity for everyone to share any relevant digital business news, information, or upcoming events with the network group.
Followed by business networking over a light buffet lunch and an optional tour of the town centre’s newest business space with Naomi Timperley, Rob Kates and Gordana Maljkovic.
Places are limited. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to gain insights and make business connections. Book now at Eventbrite or email paul.mcgrath@stockport.gov.uk.
